Step Teachers are working with a Primary School in Edgware that was rated "Outstanding" under Ofsted's previous grading system for schools - they're eager to find a Year 3 Teacher to join their team in January 2025, supporting a class of well-enthusiastic and well-behaved Key Stage 2 pupils. This Year 3 Teacher should be passionate and ready to engage with their students, helping them meet and exceed the high standards set by the school and ensuring that all pupils reach their full potential.

Year 3 Teacher - Role:
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Year 3 Teacher - Requirements:
  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Have recent experience as a Year 3 Teacher in a primary school.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
