We welcome applications from Band 7 Clinical Psychologists looking for a developmental role with a preceptorship plan to Band 8a over 18-24 months, as well as experienced Band 8a practitioners ready to lead and innovate.Â

Key Responsibilities:Â

Comprehensive Assessments and Interventions: Conduct specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessments and offer evidence-based interventions tailored to patients’ needs.Â

Collaborative Care: Work closely with MDT members to provide holistic care and contribute to service planning and delivery, focusing on the rehabilitation of people with stroke and cardiac conditions.Â

Teaching and Supervision: Provide training and supervision to other professionals, enhancing the skill set of our teams and supporting a learning culture.Â

Essential Qualifications:Â

Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) recognized by the British Psychological Society.Â

HCPC registration or eligibility for registration.Â

Experience working across diverse client groups with varying psychological needs, in a range of settings.Â
Essential Experience:Â

Delivering specialist psychological assessments and interventions, including for patients with long-term physical health conditions.Â

Working in a multi-disciplinary team and providing supervision or training to other staff members.Â

Conducting research or audits that influence clinical practice.Â
