We are seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join our school in South London. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the national curriculum and be passionate about teaching Science to young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons to students in Key Stage 3 & 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5.
- Meet the diverse needs of students by delivering lessons using differentiated instructional techniques.
- Ensure that the classroom environment is safe and flexible for students to learn effectively.
- Establish a collaborative and independent working environment for students.
- Monitor student learning and adapt instruction methods to meet individual needs.
- Inform parents or guardians about students' academic progress and social and behavioural issues.

Requirements:
- An excellent understanding of the national curriculum guidance for Science.
- Ability to engage pupils in Science as a subject by encouraging and inspiring them.
- Motivating pupils to reach their full potential with genuine enthusiasm.
- Ability to plan and design effective lessons using a variety of teaching methods.
- Establishing an environment that fosters Science learning for the pupils.
- Safeguarding the welfare of children is a priority.
