Job Title: Sewing Machinist
Location: Stanmore
Pay Rate: £12 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid break)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
About Us:
We are partnering with the UK’s premier manufacturer and worldwide supplier of bespoke and stock nets, netting, fittings, and accessories. Based in Stanmore, our client is looking for a skilled Sewing Machinist to join their team and contribute to the production of high-quality products in the net/curtain/blinds industry.
The Role:
The Sewing Machinist will be responsible for sewing and assembling products within the net/curtain/blinds sector. The successful candidate will be expected to work efficiently, ensuring products meet high standards of quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sew and assemble products, including nets, curtains, and blinds.
- Ensure all items are made to the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Follow production schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain and care for sewing machines and tools.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and adheres to safety standards.
Requirements:
- Must have experience working within the net/curtain/blinds sewing industry.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet production targets.
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines with precision.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Immediate availability for an ASAP start.
