Search Recruitment are partnering with our Edinburgh based client to recruit an Accountant on a part-time (1-2 days a week), permanent basis. Within the role, you will play an important part in managing financial operations and financial reporting. If you are a Qualified Accountant looking to join a supportive organisation with great flexibility, you would be encouraged to apply. Salaray: Circa 50k - 60k full time equivalent.Your key responsibilities will include:* Maintain accurate financial records.* Prepare monthly management accounts.* Prepare annual accounts for review and presentation.* Deliver quarterly VAT returns.* Support and manage cash flow with further financial analysis as required. * Prepare financial reports to support decision making. * Advise and consult senior leadership on the implementation of new controls to improve efficiency.* Deliver other related duties as required to support the company's financial objectives and strategic goals.Skills and experience you'll ideally have: * Qualified Accountant. * Demonstrable experience in a similar role.* Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.* Strong IT skills and knowledge of Excel.If you'd like to apply or find out more, please submit your CV via the advert at the earliest opportunity or get in touch at .
