The Role
The position of Commercial Accountant requires an individual with competent management accounting principles, but is then capable of taking it one step further and utilising the data to influence key decision making - this includes finance business partnering with non-financial & senior stakeholders.
The key components of the role will include:
- Business partnering with senior and non-financial stakeholders
- Preparation and presentation of monthly management account & reports packs
- Budgeting, forecasting & variance analysis
- Periodic & adhoc financial analysis - KPI’s, data, trends, revenue, P&L etc.
- Utilising systems, automation & BI reporting tools
On Offer
The position of Commercial Accountant is based in Edinburgh with excellent hybrid working, although the successful individual must be able to access the office 1-2 days per week. The role will also offer:
- Up to £62,000 base salary

Candidate Profile
To be considered you must match the following criteria:
- Qualified Accountant - ICAS/ICAEW/CIMA/ACCA
- Strong management accounting principles
- Commercial finance/FP&A exposure
- Advanced user of Excel
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
