Job
The role of Financial Accountant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Controlling UK balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly reconciliation of sub-ledger control account balances
- Preparation and posting of month-end journals
- Ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled and substantiated
- Routine cleansing of balance sheet accounts
- Preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with FRS102
- Running FX routines for UK entities
- Collaborating on the annual audit and statutory reporting process
- Involvement in process improvement projects
- Revamping of working papers, financial controls, and processes
You
As a Financial Accountant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Accountancy qualification advantageous but not essential
- Exceptional analytical and MS Excel skills
- Sound practical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
- Strong understanding of financial controls and policy implementation
- Good planning and organisational skills, with independent operation capabilities
