Change Accountancy and Finance is seeking a Management Accountant for a successful Edinburgh-based professional services business.
The ideal candidate should be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with strong management accounting experience, including first-time movers.
Key responsibilities include the preparation of management accounts, cashflow forecasting, and annual budgets, along with detailed financial analysis and VAT returns.
The salary for this position ranges from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with additional benefits such as an annual bonus.
Candidates with previous professional services sector experience and strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, are preferred.

Change Accountancy and Finance are partnering with an Edinburgh-based, successful business within professional services for the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), with strong hands on experience in a similar role looking to take ownership of the full production of accounts. Reporting to the Finance Director, responsibilities will include:

Full preparation of Management Accounts, including commentary
Preparation of monthly cashflow and P&L forecasting
Preparation of annual budgets
Detailed financial analysis, including KPI
VAT returns
Signing off of monthly payroll
Assisting with external audit
Preparing Forecasts and comprehensive Budget detail
Ad hoc duties

Requirements for the role:

ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualification - fully qualified accountant, including recent qualified or first time movers
Strong management accounting experience
Previous professional services sector experience preferred
Strong interpersonal skills
IT and system experience (including Excel)
Self-starter individual

Salary offered between £50'000 and £55'000 per annum, DOE plus benefits including annual bonus.
