The Role

The Project Financial Accountant role has exceptional visibility and access to the strategic objectives, direction and senior leadership team. The role is a very varied position and will be a variety of financial accounting & project components including:

  • Business partnering and liaising with senior stakeholders & leadership team
  • Assisting with financial reporting and financial statement preparation
  • Annual audit preparation including liaising with External Auditors
  • Balance sheet integrity & reconciliations
  • Project finance and lease management
  • Treasury & hedging
  • Taxation and VAT returns
  • Ensuring robust month & year-end close
  • Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems
  • ERP developments

Candidate Profile

The employer is willing to consider applications of qualified Accountants from existing inhouse Financial Accountants or 1st time movers looking to secure their first inhouse from an Accountancy Practice/Firm.

Also, the successful individual doesn’t need to tick all the boxes of the job specification (VAT/Taxation/Treasury) provided they are qualified and can demonstrate a capability & willingness to bridge any gaps.

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Strong financial accounting/reporting exposure
  • Experienced in IFRS
