Hours of work 9.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday
Our client is a major player in the UK Distribution Market with a large number of branches across the UK.
They are looking for a Distribution Depot Operations Manager to join the team.
Role
'.Responsibility for actively managing the day-to-day running and operational procedures/performance of a depot managing a team of 20 Staff
路 Leading and motivating the team in the pursuit of demanding cost, productivity and quality targets.
路 Responsible for Compliance, Health and Safety and Depot Cost Analysis.
路 Staff appraisals and disciplinaries when necessary.
路 Ensuring we meet and exceed challenging network service levels will be a key requirement of this role.
路 Responsible for vehicles, fleet and drivers.
About You
Operating in an environment where working efficiently under pressure and at pace will be key to success, you should have strong people management experience, involving direct accountability and responsibility for motivating and leading a high performing team.
In addition, we'll also expect you to:
路 Be an experienced logistics professional with strong operational management experience.
路 Demonstrate outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
路 Have proven decision making and problem resolution skills路
The ability to successfully implement change.
