Job Title: Temporary Architectural Technician

Location: Edinburgh

Job Description:
We are seeking a Temporary Architectural Technician with expertise in housing projects to join our clients dynamic team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design and drafting, with a focus on residential and commercial developments. This is an office-based role - Monday-Friday in their offices in the west of Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for housing and commercial projects.
- Collaborate with architects and other team members to develop innovative and practical design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and codes.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and monitor project progress.
- Utilise CAD software to create and modify architectural designs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and consultants.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, specifically in housing projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Strong understanding of building regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.

Contract Duration: Approximately 3 months
