We're seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Operator to join one of the country's leading integrated waste management businesses.

Working within their Musselburgh based site, you will be a central player in providing collection, treatment, recycling and technologically-driven energy generation services to clients across the area.

This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join an already very successful team.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 4:30pm
  • Pay Rate: 13 per hour - paid weekly
  • Contract: Temporary

Working as a Mobile Plant Operator, your duties will be centred around separating materials, loading plant hoppers and trailers. Combined with:

  • Following all site health and safety rules, especially around the safe and efficient operation of mobile plant equipment
  • Separating materials, Loading plant hoppers and trailers
  • Carrying out daily checks in accordance with company procedures and site working plan
  • Co-operating with site management
  • Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures as required
  • Working to timescales and deadlines

To be successful you will have ONE of the following: Telescopic handler; Loading shovel; 360 excavator/material handler (tracked and/or wheeled).

A recognised license or qualification to operate plant such as LANTRA, NPORS, CITB, CPCS, EPIC, NVQ - An internal training program is available for those without up-to-date tickets
