- Monitor Customer Accounts: Oversee customer accounts to ensure timely payments, addressing delays or discrepancies efficiently.
- Assess Creditworthiness: Conduct evaluations for new and existing customers to manage risks.
- Set Limits: Establish and review customer credit limits based on risk assessments and payment history.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships, providing excellent service and resolving queries.
- Policy Implementation: Uphold and enforce policies to reduce credit risk and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of UK collection principles and regulations.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in credit control within a manufacturing or engineering environment is advantageous. Other sectors will be considered.
- Financial Software Skills: Proficiency with tools such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Epicor).
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess financial data and make sound decisions.
- Relationship Building: Excellent communication skills for fostering positive customer relationships and dispute resolution.
