Robert Half are working with a leading Scottish business in Edinburgh to recruit a Bookkeeper/Finance Officer on a permanent, part-time basis (18-20 hours Tuesday-Thursday). Our client is looking for an all-rounded Bookkeeper who can roll their sleeves up and hit the ground running. Fully Office based in a newly refurbished office in Edinburgh city centre.

Key responsibilities:

The role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance of the business and liaise annually with the external accountant.

  • Full Purchase & Sales Ledger - low volume, high value
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • VAT returns
  • Oversee cashflow and report to the CEO
  • Administer payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing
  • Any other ad hoc dutiea

Must have:

  • Experience in a Bookkeeping or similar role
  • Sage line 50 - Essential
  • Pro-active attitude
  • Positive mind-set
  • Team player
