Search Construction is currently working with a number of high profile constructions who are working on a wide range of exciting new projects in 2024 throughout Edinburgh, Lothians and Borders areas.Search Construction has requirements for experienced Demolition Labourers. The Demolition Labourers are required for a major commercial project based in Edinburgh and is long term till August 2025.Please apply if you can:* Provide a valid CSCS/CCDO card* Provide details of your working knowledge of demolition practices* Using Grinders, Breakers, Skill saws and hammers* Work at height using a harness* Work under own initiative and as part of a team* Be reliable and are used to work the hours required* Be flexible and be able to prioritise tasks* Provide 2 working referencesDuties will include:
- Working at height
- Removing external cladding, floor by floor
- Internal demolition works
- General tidy up of site
- Other associated tasks
Pay Rate: £15 per hour.
Successful candidates will be required to have Asbestos Awareness certification and Face fit that will be provided.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday, 8 - 4 Saturday and Sunday.
