Business Analyst

Hybrid Working - Edinburgh - 1/2 days a week on site.

Lorien's leading banking client is looking for Business Analysts to join the existing team on an ongoing major upgrade programme that has longevity of the next 12 months at their Edinburgh campus.

This role is based in Edinburgh.

This role will be Via Umbrella.

Working in a Hybrid Model of 1/2 days a week on site in Edinburgh, with quarterly multi-day PI planning sessions on site.

Role Overview:

  • Writes business requirements/user stories and epics.
  • Peer reviews user stories written by others in the team.
  • Works in continuous close collaboration with the business and the feature team ensuring transparency of vision and requirements.
  • Presents at Show and Tells at the end of every sprint.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience of delivering changes for a Cash Withdrawal (ATM) or Cash Deposits (CDM) estate is advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in Business Analysis.
  • Experience working in High Street Banking environments.
  • Experience of Agile Team Working, Requirements Gathering & Elicitation, Stakeholder Management, Change Methodology, Writing User Stories and using JIRA to track.
  • An appropriate BA certification (BAX, CPRE, CBAP etc) is preferred but proven application of user story writing and working with an agile environment is the most critical criteria.
  • Experience of working with Planview and Raid.
  • A strong sense of personal ownership/responsibility for the work they analyse and manage.
  • Co-ordinate and capture business requirements.
