Lorien's leading Pension and Investment client is looking for a Business Analyst with skills of working with Annuities to join the existing team.

This role is based in Edinburgh or Telford.

This role will be Via Umbrella.

Working in a Hybrid Model of 1-2 days a week on site.

Main skills needed-

  • Retirement Solutions area - extract information from all relevant sources to establish an accurate scope of the analysis exercise.
  • Undertake analysis of a range of data sources to produce options and recommendations for a workable solution, and drive action from key decision makers.
  • Gather and validate relevant information either through facilitating workshops, or other forms of direct engagement with stakeholders.
  • Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholder groups to support decision making.
  • Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Establish appropriate Governance & control measures within projects which align with overall Change and Company standards.
  • Investigate and implement new analysis techniques to improve overall quality of analysis and effectiveness of solutions recommended.
  • Balancing competing priorities on different pieces of work.
  • Simplify technical information into more easily understood terms.
  • Ensuring a continually high quality of output to ensure solutions are a good fit for the end user and/or for further input.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Pensions background
  • Knowledge of BPMN, process mapping using Visio
  • Ability to adapt BA skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience of working on large complex delivery programs and with different delivery dates
  • Knowledge of using office 365 suite

  • BPA hands on experience, Individual Annuities products
