SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST - OUTSIDE IR35 - INITIAL 6 MONTHS

One of loriens leading public sector clients is looking for a Senior Business Analysis to join there team on an initial 6 months contract working hybrid in Edinburgh.

Essential skills & experience

  • Knowledge of Scottish land registration processes
  • Presenting and conversing on land registration concepts with domain experts
  • Confident facilitating detailed collaborative workshops with customers and established cross-functional teams
  • Collaborative mindset seeking advice and input from a wide array of stakeholders across the customer and internal ecosystem
  • Working knowledge of Agile approaches in the design and delivery of digital services
  • Ability to support decisions making process through the effective synthesis of information from a wide array of sources
  • Experience synthesising complex information into clear and compelling visual stories
  • Experience mapping stakeholders, impact, processes, and land registration value streams
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and teamwork skills

Desirable skills & experience

  • A working knowledge of Business Canvas Modelling, Value Proposition Design or Wardley map techniques
  • Experience with prioritisation techniques such as cost of delay or similar
  • Familiarity or working knowledge of digital standards in government
  • An understanding of systems architectures in transition
  • Familiarity with creation of conceptual wireframes
  • Development of Personas, customer journeys and service blueprints
  • Use of Google's suite of web analytics software
  • Writing of user stories and formal acceptance criteria
  • Background in lean UX, six-sigma, system thinking approaches or similar
  • Formal qualification with IIBA or similar body
