We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our clients technology department, who is committed to delivering high-quality results in the public sector. The successful candidate will have the ability to analyse complex data, generate insights and liaise effectively between business and technology teams.

They are a large public sector organisation in Edinburgh.

Description

To analyse opportunities which have been identified/shortlisted by the automation team.
Work with business stakeholders to identify future opportunities which can be achieved via automation. They should contribute towards: Capacity release, Operational efficiency & Streamlining of existing workflows
Conduct analysis to define potential value for opportunities, enabling effective prioritisation and feasibility assessment
Work with product and technical development teams to establish an outcome focussed roadmap for automation in 2025-26
Support the Product Manager with building out a backlog of opportunities and experiments supported by analysis and data.
Provide business analysis expertise to support definition and delivery of solutions that meet identified business outcomes
Co-ordinate verification of automated outputs with business stakeholders as part of the route to live

Profile

A successful 'Senior Business Analyst' should have:

A degree in Business, Technology or related field.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively between business and technology teams.
Proven experience in leading and guiding teams.
The ability to present complex data in an understandable manner.
Knowledge and understanding of public sector operations.
