Senior Business Analyst - 6 months Outside IR35 up to £440 a day - Edinburgh / Hybrid working
Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a prestigious public sector organisation, who is looking to recruit a Senior Business Analyst for a minimum 6-month period, this role will Hybrid working and based in Edinburgh office.
You will receive a daily rate of up to £440 a day and the contract will see you OUTSIDE IR35.
Working as part of cross-functional delivery teams, operational and corporate business units, innovation centres and business change. You will work with Associate Product Managers as well as Product Managers, Developers and Associated Stakeholders to deliver key milestones within the Case Management Ecosystem. You will focus on improving as well as introducing new workflows the current Case Management system.
I would love to hear from Senior Business Analyst who have the following experience.
- Identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes. Help teams to manage and visualise outcomes, prioritise work and work to agreed minimum viable product (MVP), print and scope.
- Responsibility for investigative work into problems and opportunities in existing and new services. Drive the analysis and collection of information to create recommendations for service improvements. Analyse large amounts of complex information and use it to produce solutions.
- Analyse current services and processes, identify and implement opportunities to optimise these. Evaluate and establish requirements using relevant techniques such as gap analysis.
- Model more advanced and complex situations across more than one business function or programme. Gather insight from senior stakeholders and communicate modelling results clearly to them.
- Responsibility for the creation of test cases. Create traceability records, from test cases back to requirements.
- Ability to apply a digital understanding to your work. Identify and implement solutions for assisted digital.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the target operating model and identify the impact on operational service.
- Lead others to innovate in their work as well as enabling them to innovate on their own.
Skills/knowledge required
- A working knowledge of Business Canvas Modelling, Value Proposition Design or Wardley map techniques
- Experience with prioritisation techniques such as cost of delay or similar.
- Familiarity or working knowledge of digital standards in government.
- Familiarity with creation of conceptual wireframes
- Background in lean UX, six-sigma, system thinking approaches or similar.
- Process and data simulation modelling expertise
- Formal qualification with IIBA or similar body
