We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to join our client's team in Edinburgh on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in supporting the public sector organisation through a period of transformation and change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders to drive the HR agenda and support strategic objectives.
- Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Lead and support organisational change initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR strategies to improve employee engagement and performance.
- Conduct workforce planning and talent management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Experience in leading change management initiatives.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
