Cobalt is working alongside a well-respected Managing Agent who are seeking to hire a Facilities Manager to manage a portfolio of properties within Edinburgh and Dunfrees.

As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for a cluster of characterful commercial assets in managing both the physical asset and the TFM service provision, all whilst keeping a very specific eye for detail to create a first-class service for the occupiers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the effective maintenance of the building plants and fabric in terms of both planned and reactive works.

  • Building relationships with service providers to ensure that their level of service is in line with the expected SLA.

  • Exposure to managing the service charge budget.

  • Overseeing the fit-out and refurbishment projects on the property.

  • Ensuring full H&S compliance, conducting regular site inspections, signing off RAMS and permits to work etc.

  • Conducting site walk-throughs on a regular basis

  • Managing the Facilities Technicians as well as external contractors for M&E, security, and cleaning.
