The role – IT Service Delivery Manager
The salary – £50k - £60k
The location – Edinburgh
This role offers hybrid working with expectation being 2 days on site a week.
Reed are working with a fantastic Edinburgh based client as they look to add an IT Service Delivery Manager to their growing team. The role will focus on maintaining a quality level of service, managing internal and external stakeholder expectations and supporting the delivery of services across the organisation’s customers. The successful candidate will ideally have strong experience across the full breadth of customer service delivery, including the confidence to deal with complains and the ability and empathy to manage complex customer demands.
Your day-to-day:
- Have a clear understanding of the customer contract and accountabilities.
- Ensure the quality of projects delivered to customers.
- Manage the continual service improvement process.
- Liaise directly with customers and other stakeholders to understand and deliver to the required service levels.
- You’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Manage an array of customer demands, requiring prioritisation and the ability to manage competing expectations.
- Manage incidents, problems and service requests, ensuring effective resolution including root cause analysis and taking action to ensure no possibility of reoccurrence.
About you:
- Experience in a previous IT Service Delivery Manager role, ideally within a complex, multi-service environment.
- ITIL v3 certification.
- Experience with stakeholder management.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to empathise with customer complaints and deliver upon required solutions.
- Experience managing complex and varying client demands.
