Pay Rate: £13.50 - £16.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Musselburgh, East Lothian.

Day to Day Duties

• Driving/operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver and collect skips
• Tipping commercial and household waste
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed

Essential Skills

• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
• Valid CPC and DIGI card
• Experience driving four, six or eight wheelers
• Desirable Experience
• Experience driving RoRos, Skip Lorries or Tippers

What training is provided?

• Full week of paid training, depending on experience
• Health and Safety training
