People Solutions is seeking a Class 2 Driver for a position in Musselburgh, East Lothian, with a pay rate of £13.50 to £16.00 per hour.
The role requires a valid UK Category C Driving Licence, CPC, and DIGI card, along with experience driving four, six, or eight wheelers.

Daily responsibilities include safely operating Class 2 vehicles, delivering and collecting skips, and performing vehicle inspections.

Class 2 Driver

Monday - Friday: 6.00AM Starts

Pay Rate: £13.50 - £16.00 PER HOUR

Day to Day Duties

Driving/operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver and collect skips
Tipping commercial and household waste
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Maintain accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel consumption
Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed

Essential Skills

Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
Valid CPC and DIGI card
Experience driving four, six or eight wheelers
Desirable Experience
Experience driving RoRos, Skip Lorries or Tippers

What training is provided?

Full week of paid training, depending on experience
Health and Safety training
