Hgv Class 2 Driver

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a HGV Driver for our client based in Sighthill, Edinburgh.

This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and a commitment to their work.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide Excellent customer service during deliveries and collections.
• Safely load and secure goods in the vehicle to prevent damage during transportation
• Liaise with customers on site and address customer enquiries in a professional manner
• Be flexible with last minute scheduled routes and willing to adopt last minute change.
• Ensure the vehicle is managed and looked after on a daily basis

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:

• Valid Class 2 drivers’ licence with a clean driving record.
• Up to date CPC and valid driver’s licence
• Experience in HGV Class 2 driving
• Ability to list and carry some heavy equipment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Core working hours start from 7am Monday – Friday.

In return our client offers a salary of up to £30,000 per annum which will rise to £30,617 on completion of 3 month probation.
