Your new companyOur client is a reputable contractor committed to providing high-quality housing and maintenance services. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance joiner to join our team on a temporary basis.

Your new roleYour responsibilities will include both the installation and maintenance of building fabric in residential properties, including;

  • Perform general joinery, including fixing issues with existing building fabric.
  • Install new building fabric as required.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building fabric.
  • Respond to emergency joinery issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

What you'll need to succeedOur client is looking for joiners whose background is maintenance joinery and are comfortable in a maintenance environment, working with members of the public. Successful candidates will preferably have experience in maintenance joinery in residential as well as commercial properties.Main requirements:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance joiner
  • Relevant joinery qualifications (e.g. NVQ level 3 in carpentry)
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
