I'm delighted to be working alongside and recruiting for a luxury small hotel, located in Edinburgh's West End. This is a chance for someone to roll up their sleeves and really make a meaningful contribution to the business as the venue embarks on a new journey.About the RoleAs Head Chef, you'll have the freedom to develop a menu that changes with the seasons, with a focus on letting the ingredients speak for themselves. The current 5-5-5 menu offers guests the chance to sample what Scotland has to offer and we're looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas while maintaining quality and consistency.Key Responsibilities:* Oversee all Back of House operations, including team management, rota planning, holidays, and staff training.* Ensure health and safety and food hygiene standards are met and always maintained.* Manage gross profit and work within set budgets.* Work closely with senior management to enhance guest satisfaction and help drive business.* Maintain a high standard of food quality and presentation through a hands-on approach.What We're Looking For:* Strong kitchen management experience, with a track record of leading a team effectively.* A creative approach to menu development with a focus on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients where possible.* Excellent organisational skills.* Financial understanding, including gross profit and cost control.If you're looking to take on a new challenge and work with a talented team in a supportive environment, I'd love to hear from you.
