The Role:

This role will support assay development activities (primarily ELISA's), validation and technical transfer of these methods to the QC department.

  • Support complex ELISA development projects and their progression through Validation
  • Perform replacement of ELISA reagents for established methods in accordance with Change Control documentation
  • Apply specialist technical knowledge training for other members of the team
  • Support the successful technical transfer of projects from development to QC where required
  • Prepare quality and project specific documentation to a high standard e.g. SOPs, protocols/reports
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained within the Assay Development laboratory

Requirements:

  • BSc/HND in relevant scientific discipline
  • Experience in performing and troubleshooting assays (ELISA) is essential
  • Experience in preparation/review of documentation such as SOPs, protocols and reports
  • Knowledge of Assay Validation in accordance with ICH guidelines
  • Experience of technical transfer
