Business Development Manager (Beer)

Edinburgh

Up to £40,000 + Bonus

A leading premium lager brand is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team. As an independent company with a strong heritage, they focus on creating distinctive products and celebrating originality in every aspect of their business

Role Overview:

This position involves taking full responsibility for the On-Trade channel within a key territory, working closely with teams in sales, marketing, customer service, and finance to grow the brand's presence. You will be the primary contact for all on-trade activities in this region.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Drive the distribution of both draught and packaged beverages throughout the territory
  • Meet distribution objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer engagement, point of sale, and rate of sale
  • Collaborate with the Brands Team to execute customer plans that promote growth and sales within assigned accounts
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all on-trade activities within the assigned area

About You:

  • Experience in the UK beer or alcoholic drinks market
  • Understanding of the UK on-trade landscape
  • Familiarity with the role of brands in commercial proposals
  • Knowledge of logistics and its impact on commercial agreements
  • Ability to leverage data to inform brand strategies
