Senior Business Development Manager - Edinburgh & surround
My client is a leading, well-established company that provides a range of added-value services and solutions to the legal, accountancy and conveyancing sectors. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now seeking to recruit a 'Senior Business Development Manager' to focus on the ongoing development of the East of Scotland marketplace.
This role principally involves selling a variety of added-value service solutions to the legal, accountancy, and property industries. Responsibilities will include managing existing accounts and developing new revenue streams, with a strong emphasis on building profitable relationships and long-term partnerships. As this is a field-based role, you will be expected to meet with existing clients and prospects daily and frequently attend industry networking events. The company promotes a positive business culture characterised by camaraderie and teamwork. The UK-based leadership team will provide continuous support, as well as the necessary tools, insights, and strategies to help you succeed quickly.
This position may suit an ex-solicitor looking to transition into a lucrative career in commercial business development. It is also ideal for a business developer from within a legal firm seeking a new challenge, an experienced property sales professional, or, indeed someone with a solid background in introducing and selling financial services solutions. The opportunity allows you to own the client relationships within your designated territory while benefiting from an already established account base, enabling you to start earning bonuses almost from day one.

- At least 4 years of direct experience developing business within law/accountancy firms, financial/professional services, or estate agencies.
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding direct sales targets and budgets.
- A stable and progressive work history.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Successful examples of strategic client relationship management and partnership development.
- Extremely high standards of professional integrity.
What’s on offer?
A competitive basic salary of up to £55,000 per annum pa (depending on experience), plus car allowance, alongside an excellent and realistic bonus earning potential of approximately £70,000 OTE. Additionally, a pension and private medical insurance are included.
