My client is looking for Chartered Engineer with at least 3 years post chartership relevant experience.

Principal Duties
路Management...of projects, and the staff assigned to the project.
路Resourcing and Work Planning...assist Director to coordinate information on a weekly basis.
路Design....prepare design calculations as required following the procedure and methods laid out in ISO 9001 Manual and be aware of SER procedures
路Training....take responsibility for your own training and personal development.
路Health & Safety....ensure you are aware of the risks associated with visits to construction sites, unoccupied buildings etc. Prepare project risk assessments and residual risk identification when required, defining and maintaining quality safety standards.
路Commercial Awareness...understand the need for projects to be profitable and take responsibility for monitoring the fee on jobs you are responsible for. Support with Prepare fee quotations and fee claims when required where scope of work has changed or additional services have been instructed.

General Duties
路Assist the Director in the weekly workload review
路To carry out structural design work, inspections and reports when required.
路Communicate effectively either verbally or by preparing letters and reports as required.
路Monitor financial performance of projects
路Maintain continuing professional development and to keep abreast of technical developments and legislation.
路Help the company to be profitable and raise profile with external Clients.
路Report to Director on all technical and welfare issues as necessary.
路Work individually and as a project team member efficiently, professionally and in a helpful manner.
路Assist in the training and development of junior technical staff.
