About the Role:
We are looking for a Principal/Associate Geotechnical Engineer to take a leading role in the delivery of complex geotechnical projects within the offshore and renewable energy sectors.

In this role, you'll contribute to sustainable energy solutions and apply advanced geotechnical detailed design techniques and numerical analysis to deliver successful project outcomes.

Principal/Associate Geotechnical Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the geotechnical design and analysis for offshore and renewable energy projects, with an emphasis on finite element (FE) methodologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor a team of engineers, guiding their development in geotechnical principles and design techniques.
  • Utilise advanced numerical analysis and modelling to address project-specific challenges in the offshore and renewable sectors.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence and alignment with project goals.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring efficient project delivery to the highest standards.

Principal/Associate Geotechnical Engineer Qualifications and Skills:

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or membership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).
  • Proven expertise in geotechnical detailed design, particularly in the context of FE analysis for offshore and renewable energy projects.
  • Strong background in numerical analysis and its application in offshore geotechnics.
  • Solid project management skills, including experience handling budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary coordination.
