A leading Tier One Building Contractor is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh. This role will focus on reinforced concrete (RC) frame building developments, ensuring the successful execution of high-quality construction projects.
Key Responsibilities-
Oversee site engineering activities, ensuring projects are delivered to high standards.

Set out and survey RC frame structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications.

Work closely with site management, subcontractors, and designers to coordinate work efficiently.

Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and quality control procedures.

Monitor progress, prepare reports, and maintain records of work completed.

Conduct quality checks, ensuring compliance with project drawings and specifications.

Assist in resolving technical challenges and liaise with the design team when required.

Work with GPS, Total Stations, and other surveying equipment to ensure precision.

Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or Construction-related discipline.

Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on RC frame projects.

Proficiency in setting out, surveying, and using digital tools for construction.

Strong understanding of construction methods, regulations, and health & safety.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication and teamwork skills, ensuring smooth project delivery.

CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS certification (preferred).
