Mane are currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor working for a leading construction consultancy.

As Building Surveyor you will provide expert advice on property and construction, assessing building conditions, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations. Your role will be vital in delivering comprehensive building assessments, maintenance strategies, and professional consultation to both private and commercial clients.

As Building Surveyor you will be responsible for;

  • Conducting detailed building inspections, including condition surveys, defect analysis, dilapidations, measured surveys, and building pathology reports
  • Advise on property maintenance issues, including planned maintenance programs, repair solutions, and refurbishment recommendations
  • Ensure that buildings comply with statutory regulations and health and safety standards, advising clients on issues such as fire safety, accessibility, and environmental impact.
  • Provide expert advice on the viability of new developments, as well as guidance on the conservation and restoration of historic buildings.

As Building Surveyor the below requirements are essential

  • MRICS Chartered status (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is essential.
  • Proven experience in a building surveying role with strong technical knowledge
  • In-depth understanding of building regulations, construction technology, and property law
