About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead a high-value cross-country HV cabling project on the east coast of Scotland, located 30 miles east of Edinburgh. This long-term project, running until 2029, requires a dedicated professional with extensive client-facing experience, particularly with Scottish Power.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all on-site activities to ensure the successful delivery of the HV cabling project.
  • Engage and maintain strong relationships with clients, especially Scottish Power, to ensure project alignment with client expectations.
  • Chair and lead regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Review and manage project documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
  • Coordinate with various teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on high-value cross-country HV cabling projects.
  • Extensive client-facing experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked under Scottish Power.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to chair meetings effectively and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills to manage project paperwork and reports.
  • Commitment to seeing the project through to completion by 2029.
