Search are supporting the recruitment of a Credit Controller for our client's Edinburgh office. Within the role, you will be responsible for managing credit control and finance processes, ensuring timely debt collection and accurate financial records.If you are an experienced Credit Controller or Finance Assistant with demonstrable communication skills, you would be encouraged to apply. Salary: circa 23k - 28k, depending on experience.Your key responsibilities will include:* Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely payments.* Liaise with clients about overdue accounts and payment plans.* Maintain accurate records of transactions.* Prepare and send invoices, statements and reminders.* Resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting.* Conduct credit checks on new customers.* Produce reports on outstanding debts for management.Skills and experience you'll ideally have:* Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable.* Knowledge of accounting software.* An understanding of transactional finance.* Demonstrable communication skills.* Proactive approach to work.If you'd like to apply or find out more, please submit your CV at the earliest opportunity and/or get in touch at .
