Are you looking to make a positive impact in your community while working flexible hours? We are seeking dedicated agency workers to ensure the safety of children crossing the road at designated School Crossing Patrol sites across the city.
Position Details:
Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 - 9:00 am & 2:30 - 4:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 - 9:00 am & 12:00 - 1:00 pm
(12 hours total per week) - hours may be adjusted dependant on school hours.
Pay Rate: 12.29 per hour
PVG Requirement: All applicants must be PVG vetted to work with children.
Locations: Various around Edinburgh
Role Purpose
In this role, you will:
- Ensure the safety of children crossing the road at designated times and locations.
- Use provided uniform and safety equipment to maintain the safety of yourself, children, and the public.
- Control children waiting to cross and manage traffic appropriately.
- Report any issues or difficulties to the School Crossing Patrol Service Manager.
