Your new companyYou will be joining a well-known organisation who are a staple of the local community. Helping citizens by offering a range of vital services, you will be an integral part of the company's growing customer service function. You will be based in their Edinburgh office with the opportunity to work hybrid and/or flexibly within their office hours. Your new roleAs a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing a friendly and supportive customer service to key stakeholders of the organisation. Some of your key duties include:

  • Independently manage, and be the first point of contact for, customer enquiries via telephone and email
  • Offering advice and information to solve queries or complaints and refer customers to third parties when appropriate
  • Having a clear understanding of contracts, schemes and services operated by the organisation
  • Customer relationship management - helping customers through the order process
  • Building relationships with third party suppliers
  • Use their system to log calls and communication with customers
  • Meet individual and team targets and KPIs

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a customer service role (contact centre desirable, but not essential)
  • General office administration experience
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Confident communicator and good team player
  • Provide solutions to problems through independent thinking
  • Target oriented and comfortable working to meet KPIs
