We are seeking a Data Architect. This role is with our client, based in Edinburgh .
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive Data Architecture Experience in data architecture, including the last 5 years specializing in the Microsoft Azure stack, with hands-on implementation expertise in Microsoft Fabric.
- Strategic Design and Governance,Skilled in suggesting and implementing architectural design changes to meet evolving requirements, ensuring data governance, compliance, security, and privacy standards in collaboration with customer architects.
- Data Management and Optimization, Proficient in designing and managing infrastructure for data storage, processing, and analytics, optimizing performance for large-scale data solutions using tools like Azure Data Factory and PySpark.
- Reusable Design Patterns and System Integration, Experienced in developing reusable design patterns for consistency and efficiency, with a strong ability to ensure seamless integration across platforms and systems.
- Collaboration and Delivery, Adept at aligning architecture with business goals through close collaboration with stakeholders, overseeing technical development and deployment of MS Fabric solutions with high quality. Role based in London, with travel to Edinburgh (2 days per week) and potential visits to Manchester or Newcastle.
