Parity Group is seeking a Data Engineer for a prestigious public sector organization in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
The role is for a minimum of 6 months and offers a daily rate of up to £470, outside IR35.
Candidates should have expertise in data transformation and analysis, particularly in a DevOps agile environment.
Key skills required include Python, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, SQL, and experience with AWS and data integration solutions.
Experience with Digital First or GDS quality standards and unit testing tools is also preferred.

Data Engineer - 6 months Outside IR35 up to £470 a day - Edinburgh or Glasgow

Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a prestigious public sector organisation, who is looking to recruit a DATA ENGINEER for a minimum 6-month period, this role will require occasional attendance in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

You will receive a daily rate of up to £470 a day and the contract will see you OUTSIDE IR35.

Working in a small multi disciplined team, this role will be migrating data processes from on premise to AWS cloud and be involved in the development and delivery of integrating data into a data warehouse

I would love to hear from Data Engineers who are experts in data transformation and analysis with experience in a DevOps agile environment and have the following skills;

Tech skills in Python, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, SQL and tooling including Docker, GitLab CI, AWS, AWS CDK and AWS CloudFormation
Implementation of data ETLs, data streaming systems and data integration solutions
Data warehousing and Hybrid on-premises/cloud solutions
Experience of Digital First or GDS quality standards
Using testing tools for unit testing, including system test automation frameworks
