Business Development Manager (Audio Visual)

Scotland (Central Belt)£36,000 base with OTE of £50,000 (uncapped commission)

Lorien is excited to partner with a successful client in the AV/VC industry, currently thriving in Northern Ireland and now expanding into Scotland. We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead this growth in the central belt.

This is a true business development role, perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships from scratch and is excited by the prospect of cold calling. The role is remote, but you will be out and about, visiting prospective clients and setting up meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the central belt of Scotland.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients.
  • Conduct cold calls and set up meetings to introduce our client's AV/VC solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest in AV and video conferencing technology.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

About You:

  • Proven experience in business development, ideally with a passion for technology.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a client-focused approach.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and initiating contact with potential clients.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand AV and video conferencing technology.
  • Please note, someone with a technical or commercial background in AV may also be suited to this role, however clear demonstration of sales ability will be required.
