Care Home Manager
Edinburgh

With already over 100 homes in the UK, my client are a growing organisation who pride themselves on their outstanding care services. They are looking for an experienced Home Manager who can support a well established team ensuring care standards are met, residents are catered to and ultimately taking leadership for a successful home.

The role: You will be responsible for all day to day operations within the care home and use leadership skills to maintain and even improve standards where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
*Use management and leadership skills to drive success within the team
*Ensure a positive environment is maintained for both staff and resident
*Meet all legal requirements and standards set by SSSC and Care Inspectorate
*Financial management
*Create and maintain relationships with residents, relatives, staff and external stakeholders
*Maintain reputation of the home, making improvements where necessary

Requirements
*3 years' experience as a home manager
*RGN with active pin
*Budget management
*Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation
*Dementia care
*Experience in being proactive to create new opportunities within the home
*Strong independent and team work skills
*Passion for care
