We are seeking an experienced Engineer / Senior Engineer / Technician for our clients' Edinburgh office to support the Director and team on infrastructure and large multidisciplinary projects. The ideal candidate will have relevant post-qualification experience and hold or be working towards EngTech, IEng, or CEng status.

Their Infrastructure team specializes in sustainable development solutions for sectors such as commercial, retail, industrial, education, and residential. You will work on a variety of projects, from masterplans to education and hospitality schemes, with a focus on drainage, roads, and external works, especially Sustainable Urban Drainage.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare site appraisals and feasibility assessments
  • Review designs and drawings for quality and compliance
  • Liaise with clients, regulators, and stakeholders
  • Attend meetings and conduct site inspections
  • Provide technical guidance to junior colleagues
  • Work both independently and in collaboration with other disciplines
  • Produce CAD/3D models and ensure quality control
  • Comply with company Health and Safety policies

Qualifications/Experience:

  • BEng/BSc or MEng in Civil Engineering (+5 years post-graduate experience) or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (+8 years experience)
  • EngTech membership (desirable)
  • Competent in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and drainage design tools
  • Knowledge of infrastructure design standards and UK design regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Full driving license
