Are you an Infrastructure Design Engineer and looking for a temporary role with a reputable company?

Contract Scotland is working closely with a client based in Edinburgh as they look for an Infrastructure Design Engineer to join their team on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that values employee contribution and which invests in the career progression of staff.

As an Infrastructure Design Engineer/ Technician, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects to clients and work on a variety of projects including infrastructure, residential, commercial, leisure and master planning.

You will work alone and as part of a team whilst preparing infrastructure designs and coordinating these with all project members.

This role will challenge you whilst still allowing you to continuously improve your design skills.

What do you need?

  • A HND / HNC in Civil Engineering (or Degree qualified) and significant experience in Civil/Infrastructure Design
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A dynamic working approach
  • Good organisation skills to prioritise a busy workload
  • Knowledge and experience of roads and drainage design
  • The ability to use recent versions of AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Proven experience of using and applying Micro drainage/Windes in the working environment
