Are you an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge?
I am working with a facilities management company who are looking to add a Mobile Electrical Engineer to their team. The company specialise in PPM and reactive maintenance within commercial buildings. This role is a field based position and will be covering the Edinburgh, Galashiels, Perth, Dundee and Kirkcaldy areas.
About the role of Mobile Electrical Engineer:
My client work mainly on commercial buildings such as high street retailers and banks. You will be tasked with attending around 4 sites a day to carry out repairs or maintenance within the buildings which will include PPM and reactive work.
Responsibilities for Mobile Electrical Engineer:
- You will be upgrading and installing systems, along with carrying out maintenance works, inspections and fault finding
- Complete necessary paperwork and submit within a set time scale
- Complete certification and identify any remedial work that needs to be completed
- Use hand held technology effectively
Requirements of a Mobile Electrical Engineer:
- The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 (ideally 3) or equivalent in Electrical Installation
- Have experience as a mobile electrical engineer or experience as a domestic electrical engineer and be willing to be up-skilled.
- Driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
- Willing to work on a call out rota providing out of hours full cover to clients
- Knowledge of health and safety and safe working practises
What we offer for a Mobile Gas Engineer:
- Salary between 26,352 and 41,400 depending on experience
