Job Opportunity: 2x Electrician's Mates
Location: Edinburgh
Duration: 20 Weeks
Rate: 16 per hour PAYE Umbrella
Start Date: Monday (24th February)
We are seeking 2x Electricians mates to start on a site in Edinburgh, assisting the electricians working on a hotel fit out project.
Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians with installing conduit, trunking, and cable containment systems.
- Pull and route electrical cables for power, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
- Support with positioning and fitting back boxes and distribution boards.
- Carry, organize, and prepare tools, materials, and equipment for electricians.
- Help with mounting sockets, switches, and lighting fixtures during the second fix.
- Ensure work areas are kept tidy and safe by removing waste and unused materials.
- Assist in testing circuits and checking for continuity under the supervision of an electrician.
- Follow health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and site procedures.
- Communicate with other trades on-site to coordinate work schedules.
- Learn and develop electrical skills by observing and assisting qualified electricians.
Requirements:
- Driving License
- Valid CSCS
- Own PPE
- Ability to work efficiently and follow health and safety guidelines.
