Electrician

Your new companyYou will be joining an established trade team at one of the largest employers in the Edinburgh area. Due to recently securing a long-term contract to do upgrades on domestic properties, they are looking to add an electrician to assist with this project.Your new roleYou will be working on a domestic kitchen & bathroom contract as part of a multi-trade team:Duties may include:

• Install wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures specific to kitchen and bathroom layouts
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety standards
• Test and diagnose electrical issues, such as faulty wiring or malfunctioning fixtures
• Upgrade existing electrical systems to accommodate new appliances or fixtures, ensuring energy efficiency and safety
• Work closely with plumbers, joiners, and other trades

What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be a qualified electrician with a valid ECS card, ideally with experience in a similar background. Due to the nature of the work, you will need to have a driving licence to be considered for this role as a van will be provided for work purposes. This role will involve interaction with clients and other members of the public. What you'll get in returnYou will be offered a long-term, ongoing contract with a large company in the Edinburgh area.
