Pay: £18.50-£19.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM-4 PM
We're looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team in Edinburgh. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and building plant as part of a flexible maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across all relevant assets.
- Diagnose faults, source parts, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with the wider M&E team and specialist subcontractors to deliver high-quality work.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, including risk assessments, fire safety, and hazardous substances protocols.
- Communicate with site teams to coordinate planned and reactive work, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Complete all required documentation, including test certificates, reports, and risk assessments.
- Participate in emergency repairs (overtime may be required) and manage backlog tasks.
- Undertake training to stay up to date with new techniques and technologies.

- Has proven experience in electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs.
- Understands workplace safety and compliance standards.
- Communicates effectively with team members and clients.
- Is flexible and willing to support non-electrical tasks when required.
