Our client is currently recruiting for an experiencedElectrical Engineerfor a contractual assignment based inEdinburgh, EH16

To ensure the safety, reliability and efficiency of the electrical systems within the hospital.

Available Shifts and Location:

  • Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday- 5 Days A week
  • Location:EH16 4SA
  • Shift Times:08:00-16:00PM
  • Pay Rate:22.41 per hour including holiday pay with the option to accure
  • Pay Frequency:Weekly, every Friday before 5 PM
  • Employment Type:Contract (PAYE only)

Qualifications Required:

  • DBS check required before starting
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, and power outlets.
  • Install new electrical systems and equipment, including medical devices, lighting fixtures, and power outlets.
  • Set up and maintain emergency backup systems (e.g., generators, UPS units).
  • Conduct regular testing, inspections, and electrical risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Respond promptly to electrical system failures or power outages to minimize disruptions.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues in critical systems, including life-support machines, ventilators, and diagnostic equipment..
